Titebond® 571 Sound and Moisture
Control System is a one-part moisture cure urethane coating that is
designed to be applied directly to on-grade and above-grade concrete
subfloors and on-grade light weight concrete subfloors using a trowel.
Titebond
571 is a mold and mildew resistant, self-leveling coating designed to
create a noise reduction barrier by reducing sound transmission through
the subfloor. It also creates a moisture barrier by reducing moisture
vapor transmission from the subfloor. It achieves an IIC (Impact Insulation Class) rating of 69 and an STC (Sound Transmission Class) of 66. Due to its self-leveling nature, it tolerates and bridges slight imperfections and cracks in the substrate.
Titebond
571 is warranted with designated Titebond flooring adhesives, such as
Titebond 811 Advantage, Titebond 821 Premium, and Titebond 741
Ultimate, to provide the professional flooring installer with the
confidence of a reliable installation system.
